Jysk Akademisk Fægteklub hereby has the pleasure to invite you to the 50th JAF Jubilee Tournament held in the beautiful locations of Århus, Denmark.

The Men's and Women's épée competitions are part of a Nordic FIE Satellite Tournament.

Minor alterations in the program are possible.
Regulations:For the épée competition, the rules for FIE Satellite Tournaments apply. For the rest of the tournament FIE rules with Danish modifications apply.

Formula: Épée competition:
· One pre- tournament round of poules with seeding given with priority to
1. fencers with WC points, 2. international fencers, 3. national rankings,
4. other fencers. All fencers entered must compete. No elimination.
· One round of poules "Tournament proper". Seeding based on indicators
from the pre- tournament round. 20- 30% eliminated.
· Seeding for DE is based on indicators from 2. round only.
· Direct elimination will take place without repêchage to the final four.

Other individual competitions:
· Two rounds of poules with no elimination from either. Seedings for the
first round of poules as for the épée competition.
· Seeding for DE is based on indicators from both rounds of poules.

Mix Team competition:
Five fencers from the same club on each team, one from each weapon
category. A match is fenced cumulatively to 25. The order of the weapons is decided by lot. Two teams pr. club are accepted. As organiser of the tournament JAF reserves itself the right to participate with more than 2 teams.

Weapon Masks will be checked at registration.

For fencers in the épée competitionscontrol: weapons and body wires will also be checked.
Equipment:FIE 800 newton jackets and breeches (knickers) and FIE 800 newton plastrons must be worn. Masks 1600 newton.

FIE license:For the épée competitions FIE license is obligatory. An FIE license or a valid receipt from ordering an FIE license must be shown to compete.

Doping In the épée competition, doping control will take place. 1st, 2nd and one of control: the 3rd places are subject to doping control.

Fee: One individual competition : 20 € / 150 Dkr.
Two individual competitions: 30 € / 225 Dkr.
Mix team: 10 € / 75 Dkr. pr. team
