 INFORMATION FOR THE DELEGATIONS

 PLACE: Sporthall “KALEV”, Juhkentali 12, Tallinn, Estonia
 
 PARTICIPATION:
 
 Veterans: Fencers born in 1968 or older.
 
 Juniors: Fencers born in 1989 - 91.
 
 Cadets: Fencers born in 1992 - 93.
 
 U15: Fencers born in 1994 or younger.
 
 Cadets can participate in junior competition, U15 fencers can move up, but they must have his or her 13th birthday to participate in Cadet or Junior.
 
 EQUIPMENT CONTROL
 
 Only mask will be tested by weapon control. All other equipment will be checked by referee on the fencing piste. The NFU requires fencing equipment as follows:
 
 •	Fencing suite -  800 N FIE
 •	Plastrong - 800 N FIE
 •	Mask - 1600 N FIE
 •	Blade - Maraging is NOT obligatory
 
 Participants can check their masks in competition venue – Sport hall “KALEV”

 FORMULE AND INITIAL RANKING BEFORE JUNIOR, CADET and U15 EVENT:
 
 Formule: FIE Junior World Cup.
 
 Initial Ranking:
 
 Juniors:
 
 a)	According to the FIE junior ranking (number= class. Junior FIE)
 b)	Without the number.
 
 
 Cadets and U15:
 
 a)	According to the FIE junior ranking place 1 to 64 (number = class. Junior FIE)
 b)	According to the European Cadet ranking place 1 to 64 (number = class. European Cadet +1000).
 c)	According to the FIE junior ranking place from 64 (number = class. Junior FIE + 2000)
 d)	According to the European Cadet ranking place from 64 (number = class. European Cadet + 3000).
 e)	Without the number.
 
 VETERAN COMPETITITION
 The competition for veterans will be separated for ladies and men (depends of the number of participants)
 
 
 JUNIOR TEAM COMPETITION:
 
 There will be team competition only for the national teams. Each country can participate with only one team in each gender class. The host nation can be represented with two teams in each gender class. System of the team competition will be depended of the number of the teams.
 
 
 REFEREES:
 
 According to the NFU rules, participating federations are obliged to provide referees, the number depending on the number of participants from the federation as follows:
 
 2 - 4 participants on one tournament day: 1 referee
 5 - 8 participants on one tournament day: 2 referees
 9 -12 participants on one tournament day: 3 referees
 13 -16 participants on one tournament day: 4 referees.
 And so forth.
 
 The federations will be penalized for every missing referee with 100 EUR or number of their participants shall be reduced according to present referees.
 
 
 ENTRANCE FEE:
 Individual Event: Youth 10 EUR for each fencer, team events 30 EUR, Veterans 20 EUR.
 Fencers can participate in two individual classes for one fee.
 
 
 ENTRIES BY THE FEDERATIONS:
 
 Only entries from Federations will be accepted.
