41 st INTERNATIONAL FENCING TOURNAMENT ”SOLIDARITY”
2 nd VETERAN’S MEMORIAL FENCING TOURNAMENT “VLADIMIR SHUMANOV”

The fencing tournament will be held in Skopje, MACEDONIA, on 16th and17th of June 2007. The competition has become a long-year tradition to many international fencers, and has remained the sole Solidarity tournament, in loving memory of the victims of Skopje’s earthquake in 1963 and the human solidarity displayed by nations from all over the world.
The tournament is organized by Macedonian Fencing Federation, Fencing Club “Rabotnicki” and many fencing friends in our country.

This year the tournament is dedicated to a great jubilee: 70 years of the foundation of sport society “Rabotnicki”, the oldest active sport society in Macedonia.

Timetable of Tournament:

Saturday 16th of June 2007

- At 10:00 – Memorial “ Vladimir Shumanov” – FOIL for veterans (40+), man and women.
- At 15:00 – Memorial “ Vladimir Shumanov” – EPEE for veterans (40+), man and women.
- At 21:00 – Dinner for participants of veteran tournament.

Note: Registration of fencers is at least 30 min. before the opening.
Note: Competition will be rooled over handicap system, all category together : Between 40+ and 50+, starts +1 touch. For 40+ and 60+, starts +2 touches…….

Sunday 17th of June 2007

- At 08:30 – Tournament Solidarity – EPEE for seniors, men and women, registration.
- At 09:00 – Opening ceremony and start of competition
- At 17:00 – Finale, men and women.

Note: Organization committee will keep the right to change the rools during the competition.
