Fencing club Ylioppilasmiekkailijat welcomes You to "Ylioppilasmiekkailijoiden juhlakisa" fencing competition 2nd - 3rd November 2013 in Helsinki, Finland. Competition is for seniors in all three weapons. The foil and epee competitions are part of the Finnish Fencing Cup competition circuit. LOCATION Töölö Sports Hall in the center of Helsinki (Töölön kisahalli, Paavo Nurmen kuja 1 D, 00250 Helsinki). SCHEDULE (Note: schedule is preliminary, timetable will be confirmed after registeration time ends) Saturday 2nd November klo 08:00 Venue doors open klo 08:30 Signup for mens epee ends klo 09:00 Mens epee competition starts klo 13:30 Signup for womens epee ends klo 14:00 Womens epee competition starts Sunday 3rd November klo 08:00 Venue doors open klo 08:30 Signup for mens foil ends klo 09:00 Mens foil competition starts klo 12:30 Signup for womens foil ends klo 13:00 Womens foil competition starts klo 15:00 Signup for womens and mens sabre competitions end klo 15:30 Womens and mens sabre competitions start REGISTRATION Registration via Ophardt by 25th October. Email registrations to realanko@gmail.com. FEES Competition fees: 25 eur / foil competition (includes additional fee for Finnish Cup) 25 eur / epee competition (includes additional fee for Finnish Cup) 20 eur / sabre competition Registration fee is doubled for registrations after 25th October. Fees are paid on venue. REFEREES 1 – 3 fencers: no obligations 4 – 6 fencers: 1 referee 7 – n fencers: 2 referees Registrations for referees by 25th October when you register for the competition. COMPETITION FORMAT At each weapon, the competition is organised with one round of pools and a direct elimination. INFORMATIOM Additional information: Reeta Alanko (realanko@gmail.com) LICENCE Participants need a valid FIE licence, or a national licence of a FIE member federation. 800N equipment is compulsory and conductive bib is used in foil competitions.
