Registration fee:
A registration fee of € 10 (CHF 12.5, SEK 100, US $ 15) for each fencer and each competition shall be paid at the moment of registration.
Age requirement:
The JWC competitions are open for fencers born 1986 - 1992.
The Cadets competitions are open for fencers born 1989 or later.
Competition formula:
The competition formula of the FIE Junior World Cup will be used, i.e., one round of pools,in which all fencers present take part, and an integral direct elimination of qualified fencers.

FIE license: (only applicable for the JWC competition)
Participating fencers are obliged to present a FIE license for the 2005 – 2006 season. Fencers without a valid FIE license will not be allowed to participate in the competition. Please check your FIE licenses before you travel to Gothenburg.
Equipment:
The fencers must have equipment in accordance with FIE’s decisions (FIE blades, mask 1600 N, fencing dress and plastron 800 N). Fencers equipment shall be controlled and approved by the equipment control before the start of the competition. FIE blades are not required in the Cadet Tournament.
Doping control: (only applicable for the JWC competition)
Doping control will be effectuated according to the rules of the FIE.
Quota of referees: (only applicable for the JWC competition)
The Federations must bring referees at least in accordance with the FIE regulations:
1 - 4 fencers = 0 referee, 5 - 9 fencers = 1 referee, 10 fencers or more = 2 referees.
The Federations shall on the entry form, state the name and the FIE category of the refereesaccompanying the fencers to the competition.
Federations not bringing referees at least in accordance with the quota, will be liable to pay a fine of € 1 000 (CHF 1 500) to the organizing committee. The fine shall be paid when the fencers from the Federation are registered. If the Federation informs the organizing committee at least 15 days before the competition that the Federation will not fulfil its quota of referees, the fine will be reduced to € 500 (CHF 750).
