WE TAKE GREAT PLEASURE IN INVITING YOU TO THE INTERNATIONAL FENCING TOURNAMENT , NORDIC CUP - WC satellitt / OSLO CUP 2005

Under the auspices of the Norwegian Fencing Federation, the tournament will be held in Oslo and is the part of a Nordic FIE satellite competition on épée.

Place: Oslo, Bygdøy, Bygdøhus, Huk Aveny 45.
Date: 12-13. November 2005

The competition program will be as follows:
Saturday 12 th November:
Epee individual, men. FIE satellite Tournament :
08:15-08:45 Registration and mask control
09:00- start 1.round, 11:00- start 2.round, 13:00- start D.E.,
17:30- Final (4 fencers)

Epee individual, junior girls: 12:00-12:30 Registration, 12:45 start.

Sunday 13 th November:
Epee individual, ladies. FIE satellite tournament :
08:45-09:15 Registration and mask control
09:30- start 1.round, 11:30- start 2.round, 13:30- start D.E.,
16:30- Final (4 fencers)

Epee individual, junior boys: 9:45-10:15 Registration, 10:30- start

Prizes (Epee men / ladies individual):
1.pl.- 31% of start fee, 2.pl.- 23% of start fee, 3.pl.- 13% of start fee

Regulations. The official rules for FIE Satellite Tournaments apply. All fencers must be equipped in accordance with the FIE rules: fencing uniform 800 N, masks 1600 N bib, blades. FIE license 2005/2006 is obligatory. Doping control may be carried out (According to regulations set by Norwegian Confederations of Sports (NIF) shall all participants be under an obligation to submit themselves to a doping control. An athlete will be disqualified from participation and results made void in the event of a positive doping control.)

Formula. One pre-tournament round of poules. All fencers entered must compete. No elimination from this round. Second round of poules, seeded after first. 20-30% of fencers will be eliminated after this round. D.E. ranking after the second round only. D.E. without repêchage to the final four.

Entry: non norwegian participants– 100 NOK, Norwegian–150 NOK. Jr competition all participants 50 NOK.

Notice of participation must reach Bygdø Fekteklubb latest by 5 November .
Payment must reach BYF latest by 7 November 2005 or 30 min. before start.

Banquet: Bygdø Fencing club will organize an reception after the Saturdays competitions at 18:00. All information and entry during the competition.
