The Stockholm Fencing Club (SAF) takes great pleasure in inviting you to the 34th annual
of the FIE Satellite Tournament and Nordic Cup – SAF-POKALEN (epée men) and the
REHBINDER PRIZE (epée women) 2005.
Saturday February 12th, 2005
Epee Men individual - SAF-pokalen calling 0900 start 0930
Epee Women individual – Rehbinder Prize calling 1100 start 1130
Venue
Åkeshovshallen, Bergslagsvägen 58, Bromma, Stockholm, Sweden.
Competition rules
FIE & Swedish Fencing Federation. FIE license is mandatory. Formula: One preliminary round of pools
to decide seeding of second round. All fencers must compete. No elimination from this round. Second
round of pools, from which 20-30% of fencers will be eliminated, followed by Direct Elimination
without repechage to final four.
Entries
The entry fee will be 15. International fencers may pay the entry fee on site prior to start of
competition. Kindly send your entry by e-mail to bengt.sjogren@interverbum.com or by mail to SAF,
Kungsgatan 30, 10 tr, SE 111 35 Stockholm, Sweden by January 31, 2005. Please indicate name, club
and FIE license number
Accommodation
All delegations must arrange for their own accommodation. We recommend the following hotels located
close to the tournament venue:
