FIE Satellite World Cup Epée SAF-Pokalen and the Rehbinder Prize February 9-10, 2008


The Stockholm Fencing Club (SAF) takes great pleasure in inviting you to the FIE Satellite World Cup Epée –the 37th SAF-POKALEN (men) and the REHBINDER PRIZE (women) 2008.

Åkeshovshallen, Bergslagsvägen 58, Bromma, Stockholm.

Competition rules
Official rules for FIE Satellite Tournaments apply. FIE license is obligatory.

Formula: One preliminary round of pools to decide seeding of second round. Seeding for the first round will be decided upon the FIE World Cup ranking only. All fencers must compete and no elimination from this round. 20-30% of fencers will be eliminated from the second round of pools. Seeding for Direct Elimination will be based on indicators from round 2 only. Direct Elimination will take place, without repechage, to the final four.

Entries
The entry fee will be 20 or SEK 190. International fencers may pay the entry fee on site prior to the start of the competition. Entries to be made by the National Federation via the FIE website before February 1st.

Referees
For every 4 fencers entered each club must provide a referee for a whole day or pay © 100 or SEK 950.
