Venue
Valhalla Sporthallar, Valhallagatan 3 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The venue is located in the very centre of Gothenburg.
There are hotels located within walking distance from the venue.

Entries to the Junior World Cup Competitions
The entries are to be made by the National Federation via the FIE website. Last day of entry is 7 days before day of the competition.

Entries to the European Cadet Circuit
The European Cadet Circuit has been established by the European Fencing Confederation.
In total there will be six competitions in the Circuit this season. The results from these competitions will be the basis for the ranking at the European Cadet Championships.

The entries for each country are to be sent collectively to the Swedish Fencing Federation.
Send name, date of birth and country by e-mail to: info@fencing.se
Last day of entries is Friday 25th of January 2008.

Registration fee
A registration fee of € 10 (CHF 12.5, SEK 100, US $ 15) for each fencer and each competition shall be paid upon registration.

Competition formula
One rounds of pools followed by direct elimination for both JWC and Cadets.

FIE license (only applicable for the JWC competition)
Participating fencers are obliged to have a FIE license for the 2007 – 2008 season.

Equipment regulations
The fencers must have equipment in accordance with FIE’s decisions (FIE blades, mask 1600 N, fencing dress and plastron 800 N). Fencers equipment shall be controlled and approved by the equipment control before the start of the competition. FIE blades are not
required in the European Cadet Circuit.

Doping control (only applicable for the JWC competition)
Doping control will be effectuated according to the rules of the FIE.

Quota of referees
The Federations must bring referees at least in accordance with the FIE regulations: 1 - 4 fencers = 0 referee, 5 - 9 fencers = 1 referee, 10 fencers or more = 2 referees.
The same rules apply for the European Cadet Circuit for Federations as well as for Swedish Fencing Clubs.
The names of the referees must be sent to the Swedish Fencing Federation by Friday 25th of
January 2008 via e-mail to: info@fencing.se
Federations not bringing referees at least in accordance with the quota, will be liable to pay a fine of € 1 000 (CHF 1500) to the organizing committee. The fine shall be paid when the fencers from the Federation are registered. If the Federation informs the organizing committee at least 7 days before the competition that the Federation will not fulfil
its quota of referees, the fine will be reduced to € 500 (CHF 750).
