Large women's foil tournament in Germany, one of two level-two qualifying tournaments. Usually between 60 and 90 fencers including juniors and seniors. Level is a nice mix of people who have fenced for a couple of years through one or two members of the national team. Friendly organizers. Home stays possible if hotel costs are an issue. German and foreign fencers born in 1989 or before, as well as all juniors from the ladies’ ranking list DFB-A-Jgd. German fencers must have a valid “Fechtpass“ (fencing results booklet).

Juniors under 18 need a valid doctor’s certificate declaring them fit to compete.

11. Rules:
The tournament will follow the rules set forth by the Sports Committee of the German Fencing Federation. The organizer reserves the right to make changes.

15. Appeals:
By participating in the tournament, participants agree to abide by the rules of the German Fencing Federation, and that the German Fencing Federation shall be sole arbiter in case of disputes


16. Referees:
Organizations must provide a qualified referee for every 4 members participating in the tournament (no referee required for 3 or fewer athletes). “Qualified” means that the referee is at a level equivalent to the German Fencing Federation’s Cn-licensed referees. For more information, contact the organizer. Organizations not providing the required referees will be subject to a fine of € 200 per missing referee, payable at or before the time of the tournament.

17. Notes:
All participants who make the cut to the DE rounds will receive prizes
Athletic shoes only at the venue
An equipment vendor will be present at the venue
Food and drink will be available for purchase
