We have the pleasure of inviting you to the 29th international fencing competition, Kupittaa Tournament in Turku, Finland.

Categories: individual epée men and ladies, team epée men and individual epée veterans men and ladies.

Venue: Kupittaa Sportshall, Paavo Nurmentie 1, Turku

Competition format
Individual competition men and ladies: two pool rounds and direct elimination.
Team competition: direct elimination. 3+1 fencers. The teams will be ranked according to the results in the individual competition. Two team members need to be from the same club. Please inform the names of the fencers to the competition office latest on Saturday 13.10. at 16.00.
Individual competition veterans: one pool round and direct elimination. Ladies and men will fence together if there are under 3 participants in one category.

License
All fencers need to have an FIE license for season 2007-2008 for the individual competition. The license can not be purchased at the competition venue. Please register at FIE website www.fie.ch.

Entry fee
Individual competition 20 euros
Team competition 20 euros per team
Veterans 10 euros
Entry fee will be paid at arrival.

Rules
The general rules are set by FIE. FIE blades are not obligatory. Each club having more than four fencers must provide at least one referee. Penalty payment for lack of referee is 50 euros.
