The international Särestö Open fencing tournament will be held in Levi, Lapland now already for the 10 th time! The competition has become a yearly tradition to many international fencers, thanks to the exotic surroundings of Lapland, the vast possibilities of Levi, and, of course, the high quality of the tournament! The tournament is organised by Helsingin Miekkailijat Helsingfors Fäktare ry rf (the Helsinki Fencer’s Association) and Caprice Ky. Welcome to fence! Timetable of the tournament Friday 26.1.2007 At 20.00 Opening Ceremony at Hotel Levi in the hall for fencing Saturday 27.1.2007 At 9.00 Men’s foil, check in 9.30 Competition starts 13.30 Women’s foil, check in 14.00 Competition starts 19.30 Dinner Sunday 28.1.2007 At 9.00 Men’s epee, check in 9.30 Competition starts 12.30 Women’s epee, check in 13.00 Competition starts Applications Please send your applications by 22 nd of January 2007 via e-mail: tuulikki.someroja@peugeot.fi, fax +358-103481001, or mobile +358-40-5559564. The competition fee is 15 €, which will be paid when you register on the competition day. Travel and accommodation The return-flight Helsinki-Kittilä-Helsinki costs about 150 €, if you fly from Sunday to Wednesday.
