The international and world´s Northern most fencing tournament, Levi Open Arctic Challenge, will be held
in Levi, Lapland now already for the 13th time! The competition has become a tradition to some
international fencers, thanks to the exotic surroundings of Lapland and the vast possibilities of Levi.

The tournament is organized by Helsingin Miekkailijat Helsingfors Fäktare ry rf (the Helsinki
Fencer’s Association) in co-operation with Oulun Miekkailuseura and Rovaniemen Miekkailijat.
Weapons are foil and epèe. Best veteran and junior fencers are also rewarded.
Welcome to fence!

The Competition venue is Hotel Levitunturi sporthall and SPA. They have renovated the SPA. It is quite different,
and better of course.

19.00 Fencer´s dinner (optional).

Sunday 30st January
at 9.30 foil men, check in
10.00 Competition starts
12.30 foil ladies, check in
13.00 Competition starts

Please send your registrations by 22.1.2011 via e-mail: helsinginmiekkailijat@hotmail.com. The competition
Fee is 20 € one, if both epee and foil 30 €. Should be paid, when you register on the competition day.
Unfortunately this time you need to buy a ticket to enter the SPA. The price will be 12,60 (16 €).

Travel and Accommodation
The return-flight by Finnair from Helsinki costs about 180-200 €, if you make your reservation early enough..
More info at http://www.finnair.fi . Blue1,www.blue1.fi, is also possible even with a little cheaper price. It is also
possible to fly from Stockholm to Kittilä (KIT) . New possibility this year is Air Baltic. They have flights to
Kittilä from Riga and from Riga they have flights to many cities. The price is quite nice.

3 days 270 € in single room, 165 €/ person in double room. 150 €/person in triple room
7 days 525 € single room, 336 €/person in double room, 301 €/person in triple room
