Dear Member Federations,
As you all know, the Ordinary Congress and the Elective Congress of our Confederation was organised in Plovdiv, just one day before the European Senior Championships started. 43 federations were present or represented by proxy.
The Congress elected Frantisek Janda (CZE) as new president.
From the 19 candidates for the COMEX the first 9 were elected:
RUS Pozdniakov 26 ITA Cafiero 24 ISL Mateev 24 HUN Kulcsar 23 FIN Someroja 22 GER Geuter 21 POL Bierkowski 21 SWE Thullberg 18 ROU Zidaru 17 ARM Grigoryan 16 GBR Smith 13 UKR Paramonov 13 IRL McGarrity 11 TUR Kalender 11 NED v.d.Flier 10 SVK Ersek 10 FRA Vajda 9 DEN Kjöller 3 GEO Gogelia 2 At the first meeting of the new COMEX the following persons were nominated by the new President for the EFC/CEE Bureau: • Vice President: Stanislav Pozdniakov (RUS) • General Secretary: Max Geuter (GER) • Treasurer: Jacek Bierkowski (POL).
As Technical Director of the EFC/CEE Julius Kralik (SVK) was nominated.
President Janda also proposed the following Presidents of the various Commissions: • Coach and Education Commission: Octavian Zidaru (ROU) • Promotion Commission: Frantisek Janda (CZE) • Referees Commission: Stanislav Pozdniakov (RUS) • Competition Commission: Pierre Thullberg (SWE) • Veterans Commission: Max Geuter (GER) • Wheelchair Commission: Nikolay Mateev (ISL) • Athletes Commission: Krisztian Kulcsar (HUN) • SEMI Commission: Jacek Bierkowski (POL) • Medical Commission: Giuseppe Cafiero (ITA) • Women’s Commission: Marja-Liisa Someroja (FIN)
The new COMEX will start officially with their work on 01.08.2010.
